Wired and Inspired

Always choose the cable lug according to the actual conductor area – red (0.5-1.5 mm²), blue (1.5-2.5 mm²) and yellow (4-6 mm²).

Strip insulation so that the copper fills the ferrule without protruding wires. Use the correct crimping jaws for insulated lugs and do a quick pull test after crimping.

In marine and automotive environments: ensure that strain relief and moisture protection are good; supplement with shrink tubing and place connections as protected as possible.

Remember that the ring dimension (M5/M6/M8) must match the bolt/screw in the terminal or device – the right fit provides low resistance and high vibration safety.
