Copper Link Bar 125 mm

Tinned Copper Link Bars

Skyllermarks link bars are made from tinned copper in various lengths, designed for easy and reliable interconnection between bus bars, fuse holders, and other power distribution components. The link bars feature oval mounting holes, simplifying installation and providing flexibility during assembly.
They are ideal for use with Skyllermarks products as well as in other types of electrical installations.

Manufactured from at least 99.9% oxygenated copper (Cu-ETP), the link bars offer excellent electrical conductivity, which is particularly important in low-voltage DC systems.

The tinned surface protects against corrosion and ensures long-lasting electrical performance.

For short-circuit protection, we recommend using Skyllermarks heat shrink tubing over the link bars.

Skyllermarks link bars – for safe, efficient, and durable electrical installations.

Questions & Answers

Is it possible to bend your link bars? I’m planning to connect: a battery (M8 bolt) to a Victron SmartShunt to one of your busbars, mounted directly on top of the battery. The height of the shunt is 37 mm and the terminal block is 20 mm, so I need to drop down a bit on both the battery side, about 35 mm, and on the terminal-block side, 17 mm. Is it possible to bend the link bar into an “S”? I was thinking of using the long link bar, 125 mm M8–M8.

It is fine to bend our link bars, but there are a few things to take into account when doing so.

  • You must not bend them sharply, like 90 degrees. If you need 90 degrees or close to it, you have to make a longer bend.
  • The surface treatment (tin plating) can crack, especially if you bend sharply. This does not have any direct significance other than the corrosion protection being lost when the bare copper is exposed. To be on the safe side, you can apply heat-shrink tubing after you have bent them.
