Smart Solar Charge Controller with Bluetooth for Maximum Energy Harvest

The Victron SmartSolar MPPT 75/15 is an advanced solar charge controller designed to optimize the charging process from your solar panels and ensure your batteries receive the maximum available energy under all weather conditions.
Featuring ultra-fast MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) technology, the controller can increase energy harvest by up to 30% compared to traditional PWM charge controllers and up to 10% compared to slower MPPT controllers.
The built-in Bluetooth functionality makes it easy to monitor, configure, and update the charge controller directly through the VictronConnect app. For more advanced monitoring, the unit can also be connected to Victron’s GX system via the VE.Direct port.

Protects and Extends Battery Life

The SmartSolar MPPT 75/15 is equipped with Victron’s intelligent BatteryLife algorithm, which continuously monitors the battery’s state of charge. This feature reduces the risk of harmful deep discharge and ensures that the battery regularly reaches a full charge, contributing to longer service life and improved performance.

Installation Tips

  • Always connect the battery first, and then connect the solar panel.
  • Install the charge controller as close to the battery as possible to minimize voltage drop.
  • Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit to promote optimal cooling and maximize service life.
  • Always install a fuse between the charge controller and the solar panel.
  • We also recommend installing a disconnect switch between the charge controller and the solar panel for safe maintenance and system isolation.
Note: Connecting the battery before the solar panel allows the controller to correctly detect the system voltage (12 V or 24 V) and initialize properly. This is standard practice for MPPT charge controller installations.
